Another sad account of a student with special needs being left on a bus alone. Please remind your drivers and attendants to check their buses for passengers. Buses equipped with child reminder type systems have to not only walk to the rear of the bus to turn off the safety device, they have to actively look for their passengers who may be sleeping or who are non-verbal.
